Rebecca’s Story

How long did you wait before seeking out a physical therapist?
I had originally gone to the podiatrist and he said he said that he would have me do therapy and I named this place because I had been here before.

What was and how bad was your foot problem prior to coming to physical therapy?
I couldn’t walk very well without limping with a lot of pain. It had been going on for about a month, off and on. It was finally to the point where I just couldn’t function anymore so I was very happy to get in here.

What was your foot pain causing you to miss out on?
Getting up and walking. I walk a lot so I needed to be able to walk. I always walk my golf, which is almost 6 miles for 18 holes and I have to be able to walk it.

Did you try anything else that didn’t work?
Yes I used a rub on pain killer but it would only last for a few minutes.

What would you say to someone who was skeptical about physical therapy?
I would recommend that they do physical therapy because it really works.

What did you enjoy the most about coming to Preferred PT?
I liked getting the one on one attention.

What was your goal and did we help you to achieve it?
I wanted to be able to walk again and walk properly and I am finally able to walk properly. Hopefully I won’t do this again.
