My foot was in bad shape, my entire foot was numb and all the way up to my knee. I had a hard time walking, I couldn’t keep shoes on my feet. I was very unstable, and very off balance. I didn’t go out much I was missing out on everything I used to do. I was very skeptical about physical therapy, I didn’t know if it would help or not. I have had physical therapy in the past with both good results and bad results so I was very nervous.
I started physical therapy in December and now it's February and I am able to walk. My balance has improved, I'm back to normal. I would absolutely recommend you guys to everybody.
Out of all the things I loved about Preferred Physical therapy, my favorite thing would be the staff, so cheerful and friendly, I always looked forward to coming in, it was a pleasure to be here.Erla Early 80's, Peoria
My left leg was always in pain my entire life, it was so bad and all I was looking for was a cure.
I’ve been to physical therapy and doctors before, for years, ever since I was a little girl to now, and I’m 84 years old and nothing has ever helped until now.
These past two weeks have been the first weeks I have been able to sleep through the night without waking up from the pain, in years. I truly can’t remember the last time I didn’t feel pain.
I was very skeptical at first, because I tried doctors and Physical Therapy before with no success. I am so grateful for my doctor referring me here and telling me to “Give it a whirl.”
I am happy to say I’m pain free for the first time in 84 years. If anyone is debating on trying Physical Therapy or just unsure about it, just give it a shot, try it, it works.
My favorite part is just this whole program, I’m so grateful I found Preferred Physical Therapy, it worked for me. It helped me achieve living life without pain which I didn’t believe could be possible. I’m going to cry... I really am just so grateful for everyone here.Janet Early 80's, Sun City
I had a torn tendon in the left ankle. It was pretty bad, a lot of swelling, mobility was bad. It took me, probably, two weeks after I saw the foot doctor to decide to come into physical therapy. I waited mostly because of cost, and just hoping it would heal on its own, which it didn't! I was missing out on everything, it was very hard to go to work, which was horrible. I tried all I could think of to make my ankle feel better, I tried elevating and I also tried wrapping, I had it wrapped three times by the foot doctor, and that did not do anything.
I decided to try physical therapy I was hopeful it would help me walk better and move better. Now that I've been and have experienced physical therapy, if my family member or friend had pain and they were procrastinating over going to see someone, I would tell them go, do it. Go through it, it works. I have to say my favorite thing about coming into Preferred is the staff! They are the best, and of course feeling better, that was great too.
If anyone is currently skeptical about physical therapy I would say, "Go and do it, and don't put up with the pain.” I’m so glad to finally have my life back, I am just so grateful. I enjoy being able to do what I want to do.Debbie Early 70's, Sun City
