Joan’s Story

How long did you wait before deciding on physical therapy and what was the obstacle?
It was quite a long time since I had surgery and COVID-19 so I became weak.

What was it and how bad was your problem prior to receiving physical therapy?
It was bothering me because I was unable to do the things I wanted to do.

What was your pain preventing you from doing?
It was preventing me from hiking with my daughter and grandchildren, I couldn’t do it. Even just walking around in the mall I couldn’t do, I had to go home. I also missed out on going on trips.

What would you say to someone who was experiencing pain but skeptical about physical therapy?
They can help you complete the exercises correctly so you don’t have to do them on your own. Don’t be skeptical, everyone here is so friendly. I have been to other places and it was so crowded. Not here though they treat you very well and you are a person here. Physical therapy is not a waste of time. Coming here is the best thing I’ve ever done and now I know what to do.

Out of all the things that you enjoyed about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy, what did you enjoy the most?
You have their complete attention and they are so friendly here. It is so important to treat people right and they do.

What were you wanting to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
You did help me achieve my goal. Everything I experienced here was a plus. If you have any problems and need physical therapy come here to Preferred Physical Therapy.
