Jesse’s Story
How long did you wait before making the decision to come to physical therapy? What was the obstacle in coming to see a physical therapist?
It was about a week before I actually came in. I was trying to exercise myself and hoped that I would get better. I wasn’t getting better, so I decided to make an appointment and come in.
What was your problem and how bad was it prior to physical therapy?
My left shoulder blade was always sore and began causing pain in my neck. It was pretty miserable. I literally had pain from morning until night. Sometimes it would even wake me up from my sleep.
What would you say to someone who was experiencing neck pain but skeptical about physical therapy?
I would tell them to do themselves a favor and make an appointment. Come in for an evaluation. There’s nothing to lose. If they decide they want to come here and do the treatment, they’ll be really glad that they did.
What did you enjoy the most about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy?
All of the people. I love the people, they’re really great.
What did you want to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
Yes definitely. I wanted to get rid of the pain and be able to move my head and my shoulder more freely. One of the things I couldn’t do before was turn my head to the left and I can do that now!
