Jaqueda’s Story

How long did you wait before coming in for physical therapy?
I came immediately, after I got into the car accident.

What was and how bad was your neck problem prior to coming to Preferred PT?
The problem that I had was that my shoulder blades were very tight and began causing me constant neck pain.

What was your neck pain causing you to miss out on?
My neck pain stopped me from being active with my babies. I have a one year old and a two year old and I couldn’t lift them up like I used to be able to. I couldn’t play around with them. It also hurt to carry things like my purse.

Did you try anything else that didn’t work?
I tried Ibuprofen and I also tried a heating pad and that didn’t really do anything permanent for me.

What would you say to someone who was experiencing neck pain but hesitant on seeing a physical therapist?
I would definitely recommend physical therapy. All of the staff here is great and they’re really good at what they do. Nick, he’s awesome. He got to all the spots that were sore.

Out of all the things you enjoyed about coming to Preferred PT, what did you enjoy the most?
I would say interacting with Nick and the other physical therapy assistants. I also enjoyed them massaging my neck to take away the pain.

What were you wanting to achieve, and did our team help you to achieve it?
The number one thing was to take away the pain, and it worked.
