Dick’s Story
How long did you wait before deciding on physical therapy and what was the obstacle?
A consistent ache in my hip. I waited years before I came to physical therapy.
What was it and how bad was your problem prior to receiving physical therapy?
I was always aware that it was there. It would start to get so bad that I would have to sit or lay down.
What was your pain preventing you from doing?
I would constantly notice an ache in my hip. I wanted to do things like going on long walks and hiking. I would start off well but then have to stop as the pain would get worse.
What would you say to someone who was experiencing pain but skeptical about physical therapy?
I came with a negative attitude from a past experience so I did not expect any positive results. But they exceeded my expectations greatly and I feel fantastic.
Out of all the things that you enjoyed about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy, what did you enjoy the most?
The people here are spectacular. They are concerned about you and the professionals here. They knew what my issues were and how to treat them. I feel comfortable here and I get a sense of confidence that they know what they’re doing.
What were you wanting to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
I wanted to achieve being able to do the things I want to do without worrying about an ache in my hip. Yes, Preferred Physical Therapy did help me to achieve it.
