Betsy’s Story

How long did you wait before deciding on physical therapy and what was the obstacle?

I waited 2 weeks. What caused it was carrying heavy luggage.

What was it and how bad was your problem prior to receiving physical therapy?

I could hardly move my shoulders at all and I was experiencing shoulder pain.

What was your pain preventing you from doing?

It was preventing me from doing everything I couldn’t move my shoulders.

What would you say to someone who was experiencing pain but skeptical about physical therapy?

Do it, because it really helps, especially if you keep at it.

Out of all the things that you enjoyed about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy, what did you enjoy the most?

I enjoyed all the people. I like that it’s a team effort besides working with one person. It’s so friendly here every time you walk through the door they say hello to you. They do such a good job and are very caring.

What were you wanting to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?

I wanted to achieve daily use of my shoulder and yes very much so. I am at a point where I am comfortable enough to go back to my life and stay strong.
