Seana’s Story

How long did you wait before deciding on physical therapy and what was the obstacle?
I had shoulder pain on and off for several years. I thought that the chiropractor would help, and it did to a certain degree, but it wasn’t what I needed to really fix it completely.

What was it and how bad was your problem prior to receiving physical therapy?
I was having trouble doing everyday movements like reaching into the back seat of the car for my purse or putting on a jacket. It was to the point where I had to change how I moved.

What was your pain preventing you from doing?
I always had to be careful and I was always on my guard. When I did move improperly it would hurt for a day or two and it would be stiff and sore.

What would you say to someone who was experiencing pain but skeptical about physical therapy?
If anybody asks me what my experience was with Preferred Physical Therapy I would give them two thumbs up and I would refer them to you guys.

Out of all the things that you enjoyed about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy, what did you enjoy the most?
Everyone was really, really friendly. I like the people. The methodology and therapy was very sound and helpful. And learning exercises that I could take home with me was very helpful.

What were you wanting to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
I wanted to regain the movement that I had. The goal is to live pain free and to move pain free.
