Rod’s Story

How long did you wait before deciding on physical therapy and what was the obstacle?
A few weeks before I started seeking medical attention and that was when I found Preferred Physical therapy.

What was it and how bad was your problem prior to receiving physical therapy?
The pain was fairly severe and I could not sleep through it. I did try over-the-counter pain pills and ice and that was not taking care of my problem.

What was your pain preventing you from doing?
My pain was preventing me from sleeping through the night.

What would you say to someone who was experiencing pain but skeptical about physical therapy?
There isn’t really anything to be nervous about in terms of seeing a physical therapist. This was my first experience with Physical therapy and coming to Preferred Physical Therapy. I did not know what to expect but it was a positive experience and I appreciated everyone’s attitude here.

Out of all the things that you enjoyed about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy, what did you enjoy the most?
I most appreciated the level of expertise of the people here as well as their positive attitude every day. They had great patience with me and encouraged me.

What were you wanting to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
I am now able to sleep without waking up from my shoulder pain.
