Ann’s Story

What was it and how bad was your problem prior to receiving physical therapy?
I’ve had such a problem with lower back pain. I went from a constant pain of about a 4/10 to a 1/10. It’s much better! Even when I have to work at work it’s better than it was.

What was your pain preventing you from doing?
I was in so much pain at times, I could hardly walk.

What would you say to someone who was experiencing pain but skeptical about physical therapy?
Keep moving. Don’t stop because once you stop it just gets worse and worse and more and more things stopped moving. Don’t give up. Just keep going. I was hoping to have relief sooner than it happened but I knew if I kept at it, it would eventually come, at least I hoped it would. And it did!

Out of all the things that you enjoyed about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy, what did you enjoy the most?
Oh the people were great! All the people I’ve been in contact with have just been awesome. I’m very happy. This is a great place to come. You feel so at home. The people are great.

What were you wanting to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
Right now I’m doing a lot of physical work at work. It’s great to be able to leave work and not be in so much pain that I can hardly walk. So that was a huge goal for me. Is to be able to move.
