Mark’s Story

How long did you wait before deciding to get physical therapy? What was the obstacle?
In total, a couple of years. I tried some other things first and nothing really seemed to fix the problem.

What was and how bad was your shoulder problem prior to physical therapy?
I was having right shoulder pain. There was a lot of tightness from my neck and down through my arm. It caused a lot of pain with sleeping.

What was your shoulder pain causing you to miss out on?
The pain shooting from my shoulder down into my elbow was making it difficult to work at my computer.

Did you try anything else that didn’t work?
I tried two different chiropractors and neither one was able to help me. I also tried a couple different massage therapists and it just wasn’t fixing the problem.

What would you say to someone who was skeptical about physical therapy?
I would say they should definitely try a physical therapist. The techniques are different and much more thorough. It’s just a completely different approach and I feel like physical therapy works a lot better for fixing the problem.

What did you enjoy most about coming here?
The one on one working with my particular problem and the direct approach taken for my specific problem.
