Jerry’s Story

How long did you wait before getting physical therapy?
About three or four months.

What was the obstacle in seeing a physical therapist?
I waited because I really thought it was just arthritis in my knee but come to find out, it was a little more than that.

What was your problem prior to coming to Preferred PT?
I had constant pain in my left knee. And every time I moved my leg or knee I still had that pain, so I decided it was time to take care of it.

What was your knee pain causing you to miss out on, prior to coming to PPT?
For one thing, I couldn’t ride my bike. Working in the yard and the garden became more difficult.

Did you try anything else that didn’t work?
I took Tylenol.

What would you say to someone who was experiencing pain but hesitant about getting physical therapy?
I’d highly recommend they come here. The place is nice, the people are great and they’re concerned about your ailments and how to relieve them to make your life better. I’ve been to one other clinic but I find that this one is the best I’ve been to yet.

Out of all the things that you enjoyed about coming to Preferred, what did you enjoy the most?
Really the attitude of the people and they way the work with you one on one. It really just makes your day.

What were you wanting to achieve by coming here, and did we help you to achieve it?
Yes, my goal was to eliminate the pain in my knee as much as possible and this they have done. I’ve come twice a week for four weeks and it has been great.
