Elizabeth’s Story

How long did you wait before deciding to get physical therapy?
I came immediately. He had done such a great job with my husband that we felt like this was the best place for success.

What was and how bad was your knee problem before coming to physical therapy?
I had surgery because my knee was totally shot. 35 years ago I had cartilage removed from my knee and it was pretty much gone. So as the years went by, it just deteriorated until it was to the point where something had to be done.

What would you say to someone who was experiencing pain but hesitant on coming to physical therapy?
I would like to tell them to come in as soon as possible, rather than waiting. I think that Nick does a great job here. I would feel very comfortable in telling them that this would be the place to come.

Out of all the things that you enjoyed about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy, what did you enjoy the most?
The atmosphere in the room. Everybody got a long well, I was always greeted and everyone always worked hard to provide me with the best care possible and I was really happy about that. It was a very congenial atmosphere.

What were you hoping to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
I wanted to achieve full motion in my knee and I have pretty much achieved that and I am just real thankful for that. It was hard work but they provided me the means of getting that done and I am thankful for that.
