Bonnie’s Story

How long did you wait before deciding to seek out a physical therapist?
I got in the same day that I saw the doctor. I had been in pain for about two weeks, and called here and got in right away.

What was and how bad was your problem prior to physical therapy?
They said that I had Tendonitis. I couldn’t move my arm at all. Every time I tried to, I was just in a lot of pain.

What was your arm pain causing you to miss out on?
It was difficult to get things. I hurt when I tried to reach for something. I couldn’t workout either because I couldn’t use weights.

Did you try anything else that didn’t work?
I took Ibuprofen and put some ice and heat on it, but it didn’t give me very good results.

What would you say to someone who was hesitant on getting physical therapy?
I would recommend it because I think that it helps. It’s helped me. I don’t want to go through surgery so I would rather work towards getting it better.

What were you hoping to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
Well I wanted to not be in pain and yes I have achieved that It helped quite a bit.
