Bobbe’s Story

How long did you wait before coming to physical therapy?
I didn’t wait too long. My son is an advocate for physical therapy so I got in pretty quick.

What was going on with your neck and how bad did it get prior to coming to physical therapy?
It was bad. When I first came here it was really bad. Actually, all I did was wake up with a stiff neck and it just kept getting worse and worse.

What was your neck pain preventing you from doing throughout the day?
Oh I couldn’t even turn my neck! I could turn it a little bit to the left and not at all to the right.

Did you try anything else that didn’t work?
I tried both heating and icing but it didn’t seem to help too much.

What would you say to someone who was skeptical about getting physical therapy?
I would definitely say to go to physical therapy. It’s amazing.

What did you enjoy the most about coming to Preferred Physical Therapy?
The people here are very nice. I also enjoyed how they helped me learn how to do the exercises myself.

What were you wanting to achieve and did we help you to achieve it?
Oh definitely. I mean my goal of course was to not have pain every time I moved my head and you guys really helped. I’m pushing 100% so it’s been very good. I am very glad that I came in.
