Austin grew up in Phoenix and attended Arizona State University, where his curiosity for joint and body movement led him to pursue his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. His thirst for further understanding the healthy body and joint movement directed him to Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During his clinical mentorships, Austin worked in outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and hospital settings, which allowed him to experience diverse patient populations of all ages, backgrounds, and injuries.
Austin is a lifelong athlete with a background in soccer, basketball, martial arts, and weightlifting. Austin has always recognized the value of maintaining his physical health through training programs that include strength, cardiovascular conditioning, improving flexibility, balance and overall well being to pursue the highest quality of life through movement and interaction with those around him. He is passionate about serving others with the mission of bringing quality healthcare through the tenets of optimism, dedication, compassion, and love.
Outside of work, Austin loves spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, and writing. Austin currently enjoys multiple forms of exercise and athletic development including weight lifting, yoga, cycling, and hiking. He also enjoys getting to spend time with his family, especially his niece and nephew.
